The government of Pakistan has not yet decided to abandon subsidies on all fuel products from 16th May 2022. According to media news, if Pakistan Govt. will revert fuel subsidy, the price of all categories of fuel products will increase. So, keeping in view PML N Government has decided to remain fuel prices as per previous stage.In this regard, they are planning a cabinet meeting that how they reduce fuel subsidy, in parts or at once time.

PML (N) spokesperson said while talking with the media that the previous Government has not taken any decision about Petroleum prices. So, therefore they are taking hardship decisions about Petrol Prices from 16th May 2022. Perhaps a decision to be made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to not to increase Petrol prices in Pakistan.

Petrol Price in Pakistan Today Should Remain unchanged

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan (Imran Khan) had clearly announced that no changes have been made in Petrol Prices and Diesel Prices in Pakistan till 30th June 2022. But the new Government is also going to remain unchanged Petrol Price in Pakistan today 16th May 2022.

Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif ignored to increase in Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan on 1st May 2022 and also now he is on his statement to unchanged fuel price from 16th May 2022. Because at that time OGRA also requests to increase petrol price in Pakistan. But he refused to increase Petrol prices in Pakistan from 16tt May 2022.

OGRA (Oil & Gas Regularity Authority) has sent a request to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Increase Petrol prices in Pakistan w.e.f 16th May 2022 but he refused. If petrol and diesel prices will increase in Pakistan today so, Pakistani people will also face a new wave of Inflation on all groceries or other items
